This book, edited by Máquina de aplausos, reflects on the act of reading, bringing together texts that respond to Moyra Davey’s essay “The problem of reading.”
The project takes its title from Rebeca Leal Singer’s homonymous poem, which serves as the book’s jacket. The cover of the book is an optical ilusion which invites the reader to question the reliability of perception.
