The Butch Camp Calendar 2025 is a research project by Rosen Eveleigh for Butch Camp (There’s gay camp and straight camp and then there’s BUTCHCAMP…). It is a tool for exploring time in relation to how queer histories and culture have been constructed, a “limp-wristed view of camp throughout time.”
The graphic elements for each week, including colors, backgrounds, and images, are drawn from that week’s content. The design does not adhere to a rigid or uniform structure; instead, it embraces the eclectic, non-linear perspective of queer time. The result is a publication that is playful, campy, and unapologetically queer just as the creator envisions the year and the one of its readers.
